The silver coin of the Qing Dynasty is a long-bearded dragon with a diameter of 39 mm and a weight of about 24.5 g. The bead circle on the front of this coin is engraved with four large Chinese characters of "silver coins of the Qing Dynasty", and four large Chinese characters of "three years of Xuantong" are written in full Chinese. On the back, there are two big characters, "one round". On the periphery, there is a huge dragon, from top to bottom, from top to bottom, from top to bottom, with seven tails up. The head is on the top, two long whiskers are hanging down, the bridge of the nose is prominent, the eyes are bright and vivid, the dragon grain is fine, there is a fireball below, and there is an English "one round" below. In the year of Xuantong, Tianjin Mint hired Italian Louis George as the chief sculptor to design and try to cast five new coins of the "three years of Xuantong", namely, the long beard dragon, the short beard dragon, the anti-dragon, the big tail dragon and the curved beard dragon. The short whisker dragon is one of the five types of silver coins minted by Tianjin Mint. It is named for its short whisker. The obverse of the coin is roughly the same as that of the "long-bearded dragon"; The difference on the back is obvious. The most prominent feature is that the dragon head is larger and the dragon whisker is shorter, so it is named "short whisker dragon". Among the four sample coins trial-produced in the third year of Xuantong, the "short whiskered dragon" is the least existing and extremely rare. There are five kinds of sample series of the new silver coins of the Qing Dynasty in the third year of Xuantong, with the same obverse design, different fonts and decorations, and the long whisker dragon, short whisker dragon, reverse dragon, big tail dragon and curved whisker dragon on the back. After approval, the curved whisker dragon can be delivered for production. Five different formats can be completed in a short time, which cannot be completed by one person; A closer look at Quxu Dragon, Dawei Dragon and Anti-dragon, all of which have the three-dimensional beauty and smooth lines of Western style, should belong to Qiao Qi. The two dragons look very different and majestic. They should be made by the local sculptor of the mint. It is very likely that they are Yu Zizhen. This silver coin of the Qing Dynasty was designed by the Qing government in the third year of Xuantong for the purpose of unifying the currency. It was carefully designed and produced by overseas senior technicians, one of which was Qu Xulong. On the face of the money is written four big characters, "the third year of Xuantong", and on the inner circle is written four big characters, "the silver coins of the Qing Dynasty". On the back is a cloud pattern with a curly beard and a dragon. This coin is exquisite and valuable. This coin is painted with the pattern of "curved whisker dragon", which is lifelike, the dragon pattern is detailed and clear, and the carving is exquisite. As the totem of the Qing Dynasty, the five-claw flat dragon symbolizes the spiritual state of the Qing Dynasty, and displays the noble image of the divine dragon incisively and vividly. It is a work of art worth collecting. It is relatively rare in the market, and only a few are preserved in the folk. This silver coin of the Qing Dynasty, Quxulong in the third year of Xuantong, has high collection value.
